Living together - Learning together
Miss S Chilvers
For regular updates on our learning over the term, please see the Blossom Class Blog.
These have been created for pupils to use as simple, short and frequent tool. 10- 4- 10 literally means, 10 minutes, for 10 days (No weekends included!). Across the Spring break, it is important Barley Class keep up the hard work before SATs and these simple tasks will improve their confidence, knowledge and skill in answering the style of questions they will face in May. It will also be excellent revision for them too.
Feel free to download and mark the answers yourselves over the break! All packs are below with a glossary of SPaG terms as revision too!
Information from www.gov.uk about the national tests
This year's SATs will take place from Monday 9th - Thursday 12th May.
During January we would usually have a Parent's SATs Workshop, but this is unfortunately unable to go ahead. Here is an informative presentation to give you an overview of what SATs is, the expectations, how it is assessed, example questions, what we as a school are doing to help prepare children and also how you can help and support at home.
If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
If you are unable to open PDF files then you can download a free PDF reader from Adobe.
